Soy Sauce Sizzlers
1/2 cup dry soybeans
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tbsp. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
Soak soybeans in 3 cups water over night. Drain water and put
in blender with 1 cup of the water. Blend until finely textured.
Add rolled oats and nuts. Let stand for 10 minutes. Add the
remaining ingredients, mix well. Drop by tablespoons onto
lightly greased skillet, add tomato gravy (from sauces/gravies
recipe section) and heat thoroughly. Serve at once.
