Red Meatballs
Red Meatballs
sauce:
2 cups tomato juice
4 whole cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce
Combine above ingredients in a 2 quart baking dish.
meatballs:
1/2 cup rice uncooked
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. onion chopped
2 tbsp. green peppers chopped
1/2-1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt or celery seed
1 clove garlic chopped fine
Mix ingredients. Form into balls about 1-2 in diameter. Drop into
sauce, cover and bake for about 2 hours at 350 degrees.
