Swedish Meatballs
1 lb. ground beef
2 bread slices (dried and crumbled)
1 egg
1 small onion chopped and fried
6 whole allspice crushed or 1/2 tsp. allspice ground
1 tsp. salt
sprinkle pepper
oil
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and spices and form into
meat balls. Fry meat lightly in a little oil. Best to fry in a
non-stick frying pan. Do not make meat balls large, more on the
small size. Do not fry them fast, but rather long and slow. They
must be lightly browned.
