Russian Tea

Russian Tea

4 cups sugar
2 quarts water
4 sticks cinnamon
8 oranges
6 lemons
2 cans pineapple juice
6 quarts water
2/3 cup black tea (32 teaspoons)
4 cups boiling water
Make a syrup by boiling sugar, 2 quarts water and cinnamon together
for 5 minutes. Add the juice of the oranges, lemons and pineapple.
Boil orange and lemon rinds with one quart water. Strain. Combine 
with first mixture. Add remaining 5 quarts water. Heat. Just before 
serving, add the tea infusion made by steeping tea in the 4 cups of 
boiling water. Serves 50.
