HW's Maple Pancake Syrup
HW's Maple Pancake Syrup
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cane sugar
8 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter or non-hydrogenated margarine spread
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
In a saucepan, combine first five ingredients over medium-low heat,
stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil. Cook for
4-5 minutes or until syrup starts to thicken. Add maple flavoring
last. Syrup can be microwaved. Makes about 1/2 cup syrup.
