Western Maple Syrup
Western Maple Syrup
From the 1960s
4 cups white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp. maple extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Over heat, combine sugars and water. Stir until dissolved. Bring to
a boil, boil gently, covered 10 minutes. Remove form heat. Cool
until lukewarm. Add extract and vanilla.
