HK's Chocolate Water Cake
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup sour milk
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Set aside. Bring
water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in dry ingredients.
Add milk, eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Pour cake batter into
greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until
a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove cake from
oven; frost immediately with chocolate frosting. Makes 24 servings.
